What are we waiting for?

The Bureau of Meteorology advises that the major floods of river with significantly located floods are possible along the northern rivers and the coast from the middle of the northern, on Thursday.

Precipitation associated with Tropical Alfred cyclone can cause rapid growths of rivers and floods through NSW rivers starting Thursday and continuing on the weekend.

The location of the hardest precipitation and the most severe floods will depend on the path of the Alfred tropical cyclone. Intense heavy and local precipitation are forecast on Wednesdays in the northern NSW on Wednesday. The hardest precipitation will be south of the tropical track of the cyclone.

Based on predictions from the meteorology office, the following areas can be affected by dangerous flooded waters:

• Low areas along the streams and rivers
