Minister Maharashtra, Dhananjay Munde, resigned on Tuesday after CM Devendra Fadnavis accepted his resignation. Earlier in the day, Fadnavis director Dhananjay Mundes to give up down.

The request for the resignation of the NCP leader broke out after the case of murder of the village of Massajog, although it was not directly to it. Seven men, including Walmiik Karad, who is a close assistant of the lund, have been arrested so far, while a person has been declared accused.

Ramdas Athawale, whose Republican Party of India is an ally, said that the key accused in the case of Massajog, Valms Karad, is considered close to the mundries, and the state cid has already informed about Karad’s involvement in the case of the murder of Santosh Deshmukh.

“I think Dhananjay Munde and Valmik Karad had a close relationship. There is no evidence that the lies had any connection (with the crime), but there is a request for him to resign.

While Sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh was tortured and killed in December 2024, the attackers recorded 15 videos, clicked eight photos and even made two video calls, the police said in a sheet of action, documenting the bakery endured by the victim.

Videos and photos are part of the action sheet presented by the Crime Investigation Department (CID) before a court in the Beed district in the Maharashtra center last week.

Deshmukh, Sarpanch from Massajog Village in Beed District, was kidnapped and killed in December because he tried to make an extortion offer for an energy company. His body, full of wounds and carrying signs of extreme brutality, was found thrown on the roadside.
