The Colombia man accused for alleged sexual conduct in local stores

Prosecutors in Boone County have filed charges against a man in Colombia, accused of two cases of sexual conduct.

The Colombia Police Department stated in a press release issued on Monday that they Arrested Michael Shields, 45 years old.

He was accused of following women around two separate stores while masturbating.

The department said that the first incident took place on December 11, 2024, in block 3600 on Rangeline Street. The second happened on February 28, 2025, in the 1900 block of North Providence Road.

On February 10, 2025, the prosecutors accused him of a number of sexual conduct from the first degree, the first crime, for the December incident.

On Monday, March 3, the prosecutors accused him of a sexual conduct of the first, second or subsequent crime, for the February incident.

Sheilds was detained in the prison in Boone County unrelated.
