The man in Lebanon County convicted after assaulting his wife’s alienated wife at Backyard Barbeque

A man from Lebanon County was convicted of charges of offense after assaulting his alienated wife’s family and fractured the jaw of his sister -in -law, according to the Lebanon District Prosecutor.

Alberto Cruz, 33 years old, was sentenced on the charges of aggravated aggression, simple aggression, resistance to arrest and disordered conduct following a violent altercation on May 25, 2024.

The Liban County District Lawyer stated in a release That a contact condition was not in force before Cruz was uninvited to a family barbeque hosted by his alien wife’s family.

When he was asked to leave, Cruz hit his hit and fractured his sister-in-law jaw and “attacked” his mother-in-law, pushing her to the ground, said the district lawyer.

Once the police were called on the spot, Cruz was also combative with officers who tried to arrest him, and he smelled alcohol.

“The fact that some men still consider it acceptable to hit women challenge the explanation,” said Amy Muller, Deputy District Prosecutor. “Each time this defendant faces authority, he is physically leaking.”

Cruz will be convicted on May 7, waiting for the prison in Lebanon County.
