Two houses undergo damage to accidental explosion

Two houses have undergone damages following an accidental explosion in the Madnoor Vential Village in Bantwal Taluk in Dakshina Kannada district on Tuesday after.

The superintendent of Dakshina Kannada of the Police, N. Yatish, said that the explosive substances for the stone quarry were stored in a place, and the staff left for lunch. The substances were accidentally activated and exploded, he said.

The windows and other parts of the houses have been damaged.

He said that a case was registered in accordance with the explosive substances for negligence in the use of explosive substances.
