Mason McConnaughey from Nebraska Baseball to reign the rest of season 2025

Lincoln, Neb. (Huskers.com) – Coach Nebraska, Will Bolt, announced on Wednesday that the Junior Pitcher with his right -hand Mason McConnaughey will miss the rest of the 2025 season, after suffering an arm against Sam Houston last weekend.

“We are disappointed to hear the news of the injury that ends the mason season. We are grateful that Mason is in excellent care with our medical team and we trust in a full recovery.

Mason is not only a key part of our pitching staff, but also a leader in Clubhouse. His work ethics and the competitive spirit have established the tone of everyone around him. While we will be missing to have a mound this year, we know that it will attack the recovery with the same decision it brings every day and we look forward to receiving it stronger than ever. “

McConnaughey started the season as the first Husker named on the 2016 Golden Spikes Award’s viewing list and has obtained the All-American demand for D1Baseball and National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.
