Police in San Diego identifies the 61 -year -old victim in Hillcrest’s deadly attack

San Diego (KGTV) – a man whom the police in San Diego said he died after being suffocated and hit his head on the ground by his attacker was publicly identified.

SDPD officials said Jerry Puerile, 61 years old was assaulted by another man just before 5:00 pm on March 1 in front of a gas station on 330 Washington Street.

Officers responding to the reported incident have come to find the unconscious puppets in front of the business. He was taken to the hospital for treatment, but died after arrival, according to the police.

The suspect, identified as Solomon Guerrero, 55, was observed near the intersection between W Washington and Albatross streets.

He was arrested and reserved in the prison in San Diego county, under the suspicion of murder.

A reason in this case is not known.
