Blood -covered man arrested after Montpelier’s burglary

Montpelier – a Middlesex man was arrested after entering the house of a family member and later tried to enter a medical assistance unit while being covered by blood.

Travis McGurran, 48 years old, is experiencing charges, illegal evils and a disorderly disorderly conduct following the incident on March 4.

The officers responded to Heaton Street at about 19:27, after reporting a blood-covered man trying to enter a closed health door while making incoherent statements about an invasion at home and shooting.

Upon arrival, the police identified McGurran, who seemed disoriented and under influence.

McGurran claimed that the residence of a family member of Woodrow Avenue was robbed, but the investigation revealed that he would have illegally entered the unoccupied house, causing significant damage.

The police said McGurran also displayed a violent, troubled and threatening behavior at the healthcare unit, having an external door.

After being evaluated medically, McGurran was arrested.

A judge of the Vermont Superior Court has imposed a $ 1,000 money bail.

McGurran was transported to the Northern -est regional correction installation due to lack of bail.

He is scheduled for referral to Washington County Superior Court, Criminal Division on March 5, at 12:30
