Kalpana returned from Ernakulaam on March 4 and endeavored to sleep despite the multiple attempts.

“I took eight tablets, but I still couldn’t sleep. I took another 10 tablets and I lost consciousness. I don’t know what happened after that,” Kalpana told the police.
Her husband, Prasad, became worried after not responding to his telephone calls and alerted members of the colony well. In turn, they informed the police, who opened the door and found it unconscious in her bedroom. She was in a hurry at a nearby hospital, where she regained her consciousness and assured the authorities that no one else was involved.
Speaking with the media, Kalpana’s daughter, Daya Prasad, rejected the rumors about a suicide attemptstating: “Please do not misinterpret anything. Our family is doing well, and the mother will return in a few days. ”
Kalpana, who started her singing career at the age of five, has recorded over 1,500 songs in several languages, including Malayalam, Telu and Tamil. Fans now wish him a speedy recovery.
