The deceased was identified as Sunil Bairwa, 28, and his body was found hanging by the fan of the ceiling in his room on Wednesday night, the police said.

A note of suicide was recovered in which Sunil expressed his inability to fulfill his parents’ dreams and apologized.

Following the incident, license and postgraduate students protested outside the director’s office, raising slogans against the college administration and demanding responsibility.

The Mahavir Nagar police station, ASI Mohanlal, said after obtaining information, the police rushed to the pension and sent the corpse for the post-mortem.

Sunil’s father, Kajodmal, shared that his son provided admission to Kota Medical College in 2019-20, after eliminating the NEET exam.

“However, the authorities of the college did not deliberately passed him in the first year. Years,” his family said.

Recently, when he tried to discuss his case with the college administration, he was supposed to face harassment, about which his family said he made him take this extreme step.

Kamal, a main colleague of Sunil, claimed that not all students are treated equally at Kota Medical College.

According to Kamal, Sunil pleaded with the administration for the chance to appear for exams, but his requests were repeatedly refused.

“Whenever he approached them, he was quarreling and returned,” Kamal said.

Kamal also said Sunil’s mental health has been damaged in the last three months.

With the intensification of student protests, the demand for an impartial investigation in this regard is increasing.

Meanwhile, the police have assured that additional investigations will be carried out based on the family complaint.

The director of the College, Saxena, said that a team of five members had been set up to examine the problem.
