Cape Coral Police are arresting child pornography

Cape Coal, Fla. – The Cape Coral Police Department arrested someone for holding child pornography. The officers declared on March 5, the detectives arrested Michael Osbourne, 40.

In July 2024, the National Center for Missing Children and Exploit contacted the Cape Coral Police Department to report applications on sexual abuse materials. The unit of special victims began to investigate the case that connected Osborne to a social media account.

He pointed out several files that were loaded, suspected of sexual abuse materials on children. Investigators learned that Osborne had graphic videos that were confirmed to be child pornography.

Osborne was also active in chat groups that expressed their interest in young girls, the police said.

The detectives performed search warrants and found Osborne with child pornography in his possession.

Osborne is accused of 10 charges of sexual performance by a child. Osborne has received an improvement in Florida state status to meet the additional criteria.
