Brighton: The man accused of murder was first attacked – the yard

He claimed that Mrs. Chollerton threw the first fist, adding that she did not know how Mr. Barrigan hurt her leg.

“I’m sorry about what happened, but the woman was the beginning, the cause of everyone,” he told the police.

Mrs. Chollerton told the jury that the man who attacked him jumped on Mr. Barrigan’s ankle.

In his witness statement before his death, Mr. Barrigan said he tried to calm the situation before being attacked.

– He hit me immediately, “he said. “I couldn’t defend myself from his punch dam.”

The jury also said that there is no dispute about the reason for Mr. Barrigan’s death.

Ben Irwin, for the crown, told the court: “The cause of death was pulmonary embolism and deep vein thrombosis.

“His death was caused by his fractured ankle.”

Mr. Sorenu refuses to kill, bodily injury and affect.
