A Halifax massage therapist is facing an accusation of sexual assault following a complaint.

A Halifax massage therapist was accused of sexual assault following a complaint filed at the end of last year.

Halifax Regional Police received a report on December 9, 2024, of an alleged attack that took place during a massage at a Lacewood Drive property in the Clayton Park area, a police press release said.

The Kozub Serul, 43, is scheduled to appear at the Halifax provincial court on April 14.

The executive director of the Association of Massage Therapists in Nova Scotia confirmed on Thursday that Kozub is a member of the organization.

Emily Roading said Kozub’s membership was suspended until the internal investigation of the association.
