The man accused of sexually abusing 2 children “told more people about what he did”

Paragould, Ark. (Kait) – Police arrested a paragould man after saying he had sexually assaulted two children.

On Thursday, March 6, the judge of the Greek district court, Daniel Stidham, ordered to be detained Adam Harper, 34 years old, unrelated, after finding a probable cause to accuse him of the following:

  • Two charges of sexual assignment in the second degree, a class of class B
  • Two charges of sexual indecent with a child, a class of class D
  • Two accusations to endanger a minor’s welfare in the second degree, a class A.

On Monday, March 3, the telephone line of abuse of children in Arkansas received a report of two children who “made disclosures of sexual abuse.”

During the separate interviews with a crime of the Arkansas State Police against the Children’s Division investigator, the statement said that both victims named Harper as an offender.

During an interview on March 5 post-Maranda, detective sergeant Jacob Higdon said Harper “made incriminating statements about the above disclosures and advised that he had told more people about what he did.”

The editor’s note: Due to the graphic nature of the accusations and to protect the alleged victims, K8 News chose not to disclose the details of the case, including the age and sex of the victims.
