Authorities closed the illegal marijuana operation near Coleman

The authorities in Johnston County, Oklahoma, threw an illegal marijuana growth operation in the east of the county, south of the Coleman area. The operation was discovered on Wednesday morning following a collaboration investigation that involved the Sheriff’s office in Johnston County (JCSO), the Oklahoma narcotics office and the Oklahoma capable commission.

It seems that JCSO received information about the illegal operation months ago.

According to JCSO, a state soldier has provided crucial information from a traffic stop, which advanced the investigation. The subessor Chris Smith contacted OBN to verify the legality of the growth operation. It was confirmed that the operation was illegal and did not have the necessary licenses, being refused several times a UBN license.

Law officials confiscated 669 marijuana plants and 10 kilograms of processed marijuana, and a loaded R-15 style rifle was also confiscated during the operation.

I would like to thank our state partners, the application team of narcotic marijuana from Oklahoma and the Commission capable of Oklahoma for their assistance in this investigation. That being said, this investigation is in progress and the arrests are pending. Also, special thanks to the commissioners of Johnston County, District 3 for support for providing equipment and assistance in this operation! – Sheriff Gary W. Dodd
