Chicago Crime: Suspect of sexual assault approaching the back victims in the Logan Square at West Palmer Street, says the police

Chicago (WLS) – A fourth woman was attacked on the north -west side of the city, said the Chicago police.

On Sunday, a 23 -year -old woman was sexually assaulted around 2 in the morning, on block 3200 in West Palmer Street, the police said.

The victim was attacked and assaulted inside a car before the suspect escapes, the police said.

“Hearing about the recent events that have passed in the last two months raised our eyebrows and made us a little more concerned,” said Logan Square Morrison.

The other three attacks happened in the following locations and hours, according to CPD:

  • 3400 West Armitage Avenue block on January 14 at 9:30 am

  • 2800 block of West Bloomindale Avenue on January 18 at 3:10 am

  • 2600 block from North Troy Street on Feb 2 at 3:40 am

In each of the attacks, an offender was close to a victim woman before sexually assaulting her, the police said. In two of the crimes, the suspect was armed with a sharp object.

Two of the crimes happened on a sidewalk, and a crime happened on the hall of an apartment building, the police said.

“I make sure I have only one headset, especially when it is dark. I only go to well -lit areas, especially when I walk my dog ​​and then minimize my time in areas I do not know,” said neighbor Ian Champ.

No one was under arrest because the Chicago police continue to investigate the crimes.
