Police Launch Manhunt as Hoodlums attacks family, assault woman in kano

The police force in Nigeria in Kano launched a Manhunt for five unidentified bodies that attacked a family, robbed their house and made a woman in the village of Tatsan Yamma, the local governance area Tsanyawa (LGA).

The incident was also confirmed in a post of security analyst Zagazola Makama on his official X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday.

According to sources of information that spoke with Makama, the violent attack took place around 6:00 am on March 7, 2025, when the armed men stormed the Muttaqa Malam residence, aged 50.

“The attackers won with force entrance to the house and started in his wife’s room, Hadiza Muttaqa, where they tied it with a USB cable and a tape raped before moving with valuable objects,” he revealed.

Following the attack, the victim was in a hurry at General Bichi Hospital for medical treatment.

In response to the incident, the police sent detectors to the crime site and intensified the efforts to follow the perpetrators.
