The leader detained for the alleged rape on the pretext of the Rajasthan registration statement

Jaipur:

A Constanta posted with the Sanganer police station here was detained on Sunday for raping a woman married to the pretext of registering her statement, an officer said.

A thread was recorded against the Constanta Bhagaram based on a complaint filed by the victim’s husband on Saturday night, said Vinod Sharma, police assistant (ACP).

In his complaint, his husband claimed that Bhagaram took his wife and son three years to a hotel room on Saturday, with the pretext of registering his statement about a complaint against his neighbor the day before.

ACP Sharma said that her husband was at work when Bhagaram called the woman at a distance from her home. Then he took the woman and the son on a bicycle at a hotel.

The leader told the hotel staff that the woman had to change her clothes and asked for a room, where she raped it, said Sharma.

The accused threatened to put his husband in prison if he told someone about the incident, ACP said.

“The consistent accused has been detained and is questioned. Also, a woman’s medical examination is performed to confirm rape and task,” he added.
