Man arrested for sex traffic in rockland to be deported

Rockland, Maine (Wabi) – a man arrested for sex traffic in relation to activities at a closed massage salon in Rockland is now deporting in China.

54 -year -old Tian Tao was arrested by Rockland Police and Immigration and Customs Application for violating sex traffic and entered the custody of ice on February 20.

Officials say Tao entered the United States legally in 2016, but violated the conditions of his admission.

In July 2024, the Rockland police said they received information from the Lincoln County Police about investigation on a massage salon That left Waldoboro to go to Rockland.

Rockland police say he has found links between the salon and organized crime and trafficking in New York.

In December, Rockland police and internal security searched business and confiscated evidence.

As a result, 11 people were arrested for prostitution.
