A woman dead after the accident multi-vechic in Westmoreland Co.

A woman was pronounced dead in Westmoreland County after an accident with several vehicles on Friday morning, the state police said.

According to a press release, the incident took place in Salem, even after 7 in the morning, while the driver of a Mack truck gave a red light on route 22 at intersection 819.

The state police said the driver of a Ford Transit, identified as Rene Davis, 60, was approaching the intersection, as well as a teenager in another vehicle, while the truck hit Davis’s driver.

The press release states that the adolescent driver from the third vehicle hit the truck from the driver.

According to the state police, the driver of the truck went through the intersection, passed over the median and stopped on the western band, blocking the way.

The press release states that Davis’s vehicle stopped on the roadside, and the third vehicle stopped in the middle of the intersection.

The state police said that Davis was pronounced dead on the spot.

According to the press release, the driver of the truck was not cared for, and the teenage driver was transported to Monroeville for evaluation.
