Scene in the coastal city of Syria Latakia after the outbreak of violence
The images show the fighters belonging to the General Security Department of Syria and street views in the Latakia Coast City, following the killing of Civil Civils in the most serious violence since the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad. The clashes between the new security forces and the loyalists of the former government broke out in the heart of the Alawite minority, of which Assad is part and have since escalated in reported mass killings.
