Four killed, 9 injured in the Expressway Lagos-Ibadan’s accident

The federal road of road safety, FSC, confirmed the death of four people in a single accident that took place around the Alapako area of ​​Ogunmakin, on the Lagos-Ibara highway on Sunday.

The spokesman for the command of the Ogun Sector Command, Florence Okpe, confirmed the incident at the Daily Post in late Sunday hours, saying that the cause of the accident was the speed violation and the tire explosion, which led to the loss of control.

OKPE mentioned that the accident involved a white toyota hiace bus with FKJ570YE registration number, which had 13 passengers in transit.

She revealed that, while four people were confirmed, another nine suffered different degrees of wounds.

“The FRSC operators to order the Ogunmakin RS2.29 unit performed a rescue operation on the Lagos-Ibadan highway around Aepapako.

“The accident involved a White Toyota HIACE bus with FKJ570YE registration number

“The bus had a total of 13 passengers in transit, 5 male adults and 8 female adults. 4 people were registered dead, 2 male adults and 2 female adults. A total of 9 people suffered injuries, 3 male adults and 6 female adults, ”said Okpe.

She said that the injured victims were taken to Victoriei Hospital, Ore, and the bodies were deposited at Fos Morgue, Ipara.

Meanwhile, the commander of the sector, Akinwumi Fasakin, urged the motorists to give complete concentration and also carry out a routine check of their vehicle to correct some defects.

He continued to advise the motorists to maintain the necessary speed limits allocated to the different categories of vehicles.

He forced all the fleet operators to ensure the installation of the speed limit device and to be a safety aware.
