Michael Porter Jr. makes history nuggets vs thunder

Denver Nuggets had possible the hardest game of the season Sunday after -taking Oklahoma City Thunder on the road. The thunder is undoubtedly the best team at the bottom of the Western Conference, but Nuggets offered them a good fight for 36 minutes.

Unfortunately for Nuggets, after three quarters, things became ugly. Thunder surpassed Nuggets until 21 in the fourth quarter to seal their victory from 127-103, putting an end to Nuggets’s hopes of upset the road.

Nuggets had a few powerful performers, but the young striker Michael Porter Jr. really shone on the big stage. Porter Jr. gave up 24 points and 15 recovery at 10-19 shootings on the ground and 3-8 beyond the arch, reaching a historic brand.

Porter Jr. has now totaled 806 career in three points over six seasons and made the second three largest points in the history of the Nuggets franchise, following only the teammate Jamal Murray. With his three photos beyond the arc on Sunday, Porter Jr. passed Will Barton on the historical list.

Nuggets wrote Porter Jr. 14 in general in 2018, and in addition to some injury issues, the 6-meter-10 meters Sharphooter was incredible. Porter Jr. missed his entire Rookie season due to injury and played only nine games in 2021-22, but when healthy, he was a game exchanger.

Porter Jr. has an average of 18.5 points and 6.9 recovery per match this season, 50.8% on the field and 40.2% beyond the arch.
