The man attacked with his own driving stick in the Scarborough Street attack

A 30 -year -old man was left wounded after being attacked with his own walk by another man on a street in Scarborough, the police said.

The victim suffered bruises on the face in the attack, which took place on Garfield Road, near the intersection with Franklin Street, around 1:40 pm on Thursday, according to the North Yorkshire police.

Its attacker was described as being in the late 20s, wearing a dark green water jacket and a baseball cap and it was believed to be with a similar age.

A strength spokesman asked anyone who saw what happened or had information that could help officers in their investigations, get in touch.
