Raiders broke out in a hotel in Midland and attacked a worker before stealing money and drink. It happened at the Village Hotel, on the dog Kennel Lane, Shirley, Solihull.

Alcohol and an unspecified amount of cash were taken from the bar area.

It was also said that a worker was pushed during the incident that happened around 5.30 on January 29.

West Midlands police Today, Monday, March 10, has released an image of three men they would like to contact as part of their investigations.

The force said: “We would like to talk to these three after a theft from a hotel where a staff member was assaulted in Shirley.

“Alcohol and money was taken after a group entered the Bar of the hotel on Dog Kennel Lane, around 5.30, on Wednesday, January 29.

“A member of the staff was pushed during theft.
