Bangor drug trafficking bust leads to three people who face accusations

Bangor, Maine (Wabi) – Three people are experiencing accusations after a drug bust in Bangor last week.

Geiser Baez, 20 years old, from the Dominican Republic, Joseph Rusaw, 48, from Holden, and Meaghan Sulinski, 37, from Holden, were arrested for fontanil.

Maine drug application agency says that undercover agents have arranged to buy drugs at a Bangor hotel Thursday.

They say that Rusaw and Sulinski have come to deliver drugs and were arrested.

Agents say they found fentanil, methamphetamine and cracks on Rusaw and Sulinski.

After arrest, the agents searched another hotel Bangor room and found more drugs and more than $ 1,300 in suspected drugs.

They say they found Baez there trying to get rid of fentanil in the toilet.

It was told that the estimated value of the drug street was more than $ 40,000.

All three were taken to the prison in Penobscot county.

Sulinski is free on bail.

Baez and Rusaw are still behind bars.
