Suspect of theft arrested in ITHACA after stolen goods recovered

A suspect of theft was arrested on Sunday after -after the police in ITHACA found stolen properties in her apartment during an investigation.

The officers responded to an apartments complex on block 100 in Cherry Street around 4:10 pm for a reported burglary. The victim told the police that their apartment was forced and that personal properties had been stolen.

While investigated the scene, the officers identified and detained a suspect without incident. Subsequently, the authorities recovered the stolen articles from the suspect’s apartment in the same complex.

The suspect, identified as a 25 -year -old Madelyn Carman from ITHACA, was accused of burglary and criminal mistakes in the fourth degree. She was referred to the court of Isthaca in front of Judge Wallace and was released from her own recognition.
