Tanker employed by the American army hit by the goods ship

A freight ship hit a oil coast on Monday, causing a large fire on the Eastern Coast and triggering a rescue operation.

The incident took place in the North Sea, near the city of Hull, and the alarm was first erected to 9:48 AM (UTC/GMT).

Local MP Graham Stuart said 37 crew members on board the two ships were brought to shore and evaluated by ambulances.

Rescue boats, firefighters, a helicopter and an aircraft with fixed wings were implemented to respond to the incident.

“There were reports that a number of people abandoned the ships following a collision and there were fires on both ships,” said the Royal National Bloat institution.

Petroleum tank carries fuel with jet

The oil tank involved in the collision was the carrier of chemicals and oil products, with petroleum products, MV Stena Immaculated, which is managed by the Crowley maritime company.

The ship transports jet fuel for the American army at the time of collision.

The British maritime agency and coastal guard said that “it currently coordinates the emergency response to the reports of a collision between a tank and the freight ship off the East Yorkshire.”

Greenpeace Environment Group said it was too early to judge What kind of cleaning it might be necessary.

“The size of any impact will depend on a number of factors, including the quantity and type of oil worn by the tank, the fuel transported by both ships and how much of it entered the water,” said a group spokesman.

The UN shipping agency, the international maritime organization, also said that it is aware of the situation.
