Man convicted for multiple charges of crime, including promoting prostitution in Asheville

Asheville, NC (Fox Carolina) – the Buncombe’s District Prosecutor’s Office announced that a man was sent after he was guilty for multiple charges.

In January 2024, De’Markria Marquell Miller, 33, was arrested as part of an ongoing investigation of a trafficking operation in the Asheville area.

Miller advocates himself guilty of promoting the crime of prostitution, holding the crime of a firearm by a kind, an attempt to crime of fentanil and crime, which bears a hidden weapon.

He was sentenced to 21 – 35 months in prison.

After completion, it will be placed on a supervised sample, which will be suspended for the towing years and will serve in South Natal Carolina. If the probation is revoked, it will fulfill a second term of 21 to 35 months in arrest.
