Class B Sodak 16 Previews: Howard, Freeman boys meet again in Mitchell

March 10 – Mitchell – Contrasting styles will collide at the Corn Palace in the Basketball Round 16 in Class B, with Howard and Freeman to leave for a place in the state tournament in Aberdeen.

The two teams previously met on January 3 in Howard, a victory with 66-45 tigers over Flyers, with the 66 points marked by Howard’s third point of the third point in a team game this season.

The Tayden Kerrigan Boboc is the team leader with 1.6 thefts and 2.3 assistants per match, and senior Chris Aasen is a fourth marking option that has an average of 6.6 points per match.

Mission, SD – in a Revance of West River in January, the 5B Gregory Gregory and Lyman region meet in class B Sodak 16 for a journey to the state tour. The Todd County High School serves as a neutral site, with a typof set for 7:00 pm Tuesday evening.

Gorilele and Raiders faced in the regular season of January 27, Gregory claiming a 72-60 victory on Lyman’s origin court. Since that meeting, both teams have been warm on the route to Sodak 16.

The crime of scoring (61.6) is right outside the top 10 in the class and was a balanced individual effort. Noah Bearshield leads the team with 11 points per match, along with 2.8 thefts and 2.3 assistants. Cruz Klundt has an average of 10.1 points, but is also the main facilitator of the gorillas at the protection point with 4.7 assistance. He also has an average of 4.6 recovery and 2.8 thefts. Kolt Keizer offers 9.7 points and 4.5 recovery, while Cole Serr adds 6.7 points and a team of 5.2 recovery.

Meanwhile, Lyman with 12 seeds has reached a note of 16-6, highlighted by the winner, Wall and Stanley County. They defeated Lower Bubble in the region’s semifinal to reach Sodak and won nine of the last 11 games, including the postseason game.

The crime was Lyman’s game and was one of the best in class B. The 63.1 points of Raiders per match is the seventh best note B and scored over 60 points 16 times. The 50.5 points of defense allowed on the match put Raiders right in the middle of the B -class package.

Lyman is driven by a standout subclassing trio. Guardian Sophomore MJ Diehm was the main man on both ends of the floor, led Lyman The Raiders with 15.4 points per match, along with five assistants, three recovery and three blocks. He also pulls over 50% from the field.

Sophomore Dawsen Volmer colleague was also a critic on both ends of the floor. It has an average of 12.6 points, 5.7 recovery, 2.2 assistants and 1.7 steals the Cole Kieffer bud, on average 6.6 points, 6.5 recovery, 1.6 assistants and 1.5 thefts. He also hits 63% of his shootings, most of them being low.
