Kyle Hough found guilty of sexual abuse and lascivative acts with a child

Sioux City (Kiv)-a 42-year-old man was found guilty this week because he sexually abused a child.

The judicial documents show that a jury found Kyle Hough in Sioux City guilty of two accusations, second -degree sexual abuse and lascivious acts with a child.

Hough is scheduled to return to court on Friday, May 2 for his conviction. In accordance with the legislation of Iowa, the accusation of sexual abuse has a maximum punishment of 25 years in prison, while the accusation of lascivious acts is up to 10 years.

Authorities say Hough was arrested for these accusations, after being reported that he has sexually abused a minor over several years. He was arrested in April 2023, and his trial began on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, the jury reached his verdict on Friday, March 7.

Starting Monday, March 10, 2025, Hough is still in Woodbury prison waiting for his conviction.
