Suspect convicted for continuous sexual abuse sentenced to life in prison

San Antonio – a suspect convicted for the continuous sexual abuse of a child was sentenced to serve the rest of his life in prison.

On March 4, a judge sentenced Mike Escobedo, 41 years old, to life in prison, after he was guilty of continuous sexual abuses on a young child.

The judicial documents claim that Escobedo sexually assaulted the victim, a biological relative, countless times between the early and early high school.

Escobedo would have used care behaviors and based on the victim’s naivety to cause “extended emotional, physical and sexual trauma.”

The victim told in front of the Court how the years of abuse affected their childhood and how they broke their high school experience after confessing in a trusted teacher.

The suspect would also have left a vocal message to confess the abuse with a CPS investigator, saying that the victim’s statements are true. And that he was a “rapist”.

Mike Escobedo will spend the rest of his life in the custody of the Texas Criminal Justice Department.
