A Williwaw Social Security employee in Downtown Anchorage was arrested after an incident on Friday night who left a injured patron, the police said.

The officers responded to the club on F street, around 11:25 pm on Friday, following the reports on an attack, said Chris Barraza Police Department on Monday.

“The appellant said that their husband was forcibly removed from the unit by security,” Barraza said in an E -mail. “According to the plaintiff, when he hit the earth, the victim began to bleed, and lost consciousness and did not breathe.”

Doctors offered telephone instructions to start CPR, and the man was aware and breathed upon officers, Barraza said. He was transported to the hospital with upper body injuries.

The security employee was arrested for aggression and withdrawn at Anchorage prison, he said.

Barraza, Monday, will not identify the employee who was arrested and charged, citing the ongoing investigation. The identity of the employee, as well as additional information about the incident, were not immediately available from the judicial documents.

Williwaw is investigating the incident, the club representatives say.

The employee was fired on Sunday, Williwaw’s spokesman Emily Green said on Monday. The club has adjusted the staff for future events, because security protocols and training procedures are revised and improved, she said.

“I understood how important it is for all our clientele to feel safe and I want to reiterate again that Williwaw Social is a safe and welcoming environment for everyone,” Green said.

This incident remains under the investigation, the police said. They asked any witness to sound at 311 and select option 0 or provide anonymous advice for Crime stops.
