Brattleboro man arrested in the desert store burglary

Brattleboro-a 36-year-old local man was arrested on Sunday, after he was supposed to enter a comic shop in the city center and stole a marking register.

Michael J. Smith from Brattleboro was accused of theft, Petit Larceny and illegal mistakes about the Ray Gun Comics incident in 125 Main Street.

Police responded to the store at about 6:30 am on Sunday, after receiving a report.

The officers discovered that the front door of the glass had been shattered and a cash register was missing from the business.

Supervisory films and information from nearby companies helped the police identify Smith as a suspect.

Smith was located and arrested on Sunday later and held a $ 200 bail.

He is scheduled to appear at the upper court of Windham County on March 10th.
