Dawn Staley in South Carolina triggers about Gamecocks that deserves a single seed

The head coach of South Carolina, Dawn Staley, had some strong statements following the dry championship of his team.

While female conference championships are decided, they are waiting until Sunday to find out who will be sown for the NCAA tournament. South Carolina gamecocks passed through the dry tour and avenged their loss against Texas in the championship game with a 19-point victory.

Gamecocks look like one of the most powerful teams in the game at the moment and should be a single seed when the selection Sunday roller. The head coach Dawn Staley offered him two cents and said that it is a disappointment that should be placed Gamecocks on the tournament.

“When you win this tournament and play the program we play, I think we are the general seed no. 1,” said Staley. “We made our program to put us in this situation. So I hope the committee will not reduce our entire CV. There is no one in the country who played the program we played, who had part of the regular season, won this tournament and beat the team no. 1 in the country … There is no one.”

South Carolina has claimed 12 victories against the first 25 opponents this season and ended up with a 7-3 record compared to the first 10 teams. The three losses were in Texas, Uconn and Ucla.

Some projections have the gamecocks listed as a seed of two seeds, and coach Staley also had a pleasant rejection for these statements.

“If you receive so much credit to beat us, and yet, when we had some of the most difficult stretches in the country and I came out of it, you can’t reduce it,” Staley said. “You can’t discredit this. I’ll talk about this because you have to hear the other’s voice. Because if you don’t think our work body is worth it, then you have to talk about it.”
