Chester Magistrates Court is a fine for theft of service stations

Peter Murray, whose address was given as princes leading to Mold, was guilty of theft from a Chester Magistrates Court store on Tuesday, March 11th.

He stole goods to the value of 19.23 pounds, belonging to Ellesmere Port Service Station in Jacks Wood Avenue, on January 17th this year.

Prosecutor Charlotte Brookes said the police were called to the service station after the defendant was seen around 11.50, entering the store before stealing objects.

She added that she entered the store with a woman, because they “acted as part of a team.”

He added that managers at the service station used CCTV and saw that he stole the objects and the police arrested him.

He gave an interview without comments and has 15 previous offenses, including shoplifting.

Miss Brookes added that his offense was aggravated because of his previous registration and that he was on a suspended punishment.

Other news:

Chris Hunt, the defense, immediately reprimanded the statements that Murray “worked as a team” with the nameless woman, stating that the crime does not match the description.

He said, “Do not work as part of a team – you could ask yourself what kind of team can escape with 19 pounds from a garage.”

He added that Murray ‘was in the last week of his test order’ and added that it is a low value article.

Mr. Hunt said, “He pleaded guilty to the first occasion.

“This is not a professional store – this is an offense of despair, because the articles were food and drink.

“He lives in a tent in the rear garden of a man who has just learned to be his true father.”

Probation has confirmed to the court that Murray’s community order is now completed.

The magistrates fined him 120 pounds, plus he ordered him to pay a victim of the victim of 48 pounds, as well as a compensation of 19.23 pounds to the service station.
