When the baby Liyana Svenningsen, now seven months old, was born at Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley, Scotland, in August last year, caused an agitation in the section.

Her mother Hadjer Harizi, 25 years old, says that the midwives were amazed to see that her newborn already had a hair full of hair -in fact, so thick, it was more than the kind of barnet seen on a child than a new -born.

“The reasons at the hospital would come to my room and say,” We are here to see the child born with his hair full of hair, “laughs Hadjer. “They were quite shocked to see his hair.”

According to babycentre.co.uk, many babies born with a thick hair culture then lose it a few weeks later, but not Liyana. Now, seven months old, her locks are still so full, foreigners often make comments.

“People always stop us in the street or shops to ask about her hair,” says Hadjer, a mum that stays at home, from Glasgow. “Someone once asked if it was a wig and when I said in a joke yes, they thought fully!”

When Liyana had a month, Hadjer remembers foreigners asking how old she was, then amazed to find out that it was only four weeks. “They are like”, omigod, my child has a year and is still bald! “

Hadjer was not totally shocked when Liyana entered the world with a larger hair crop than the media, since she was also born with a lot of hair and still has a glorious crack of the waist.

“I was not really surprised because both my husband and I had a lot of hair when we were born,” she says.

Liyana’s hair grew so quickly that until the age of four, Hadjer had to start using clips to keep her from her face. Up to seven months, he had more than enough hair for a pony tail.

Now, her thick locks have become her signature aspect, and Hadjer likes to take special care.

“I wash my hair every three days because it becomes oily and it exists so much, it is difficult to keep it clean when they eat,” says Hadjer. “And I never left her hair dry hair. Actually she likes to use Dyson dryer! I like to style her hair every day and I will not cut it until she is older.”
