Manila, Philippines – Several cities in Pangasinan suspended courses due to the heat index in the area.
Dagupan City, which raised a 45 degree Celsius heat index, announced the suspension of classes at all levels in all public and private schools, according to Mayor Belen Fernandez.
The cities of Manaoag, Bautista and San Carlos have also suspended courses in all public and private schools.
Mangaldan announced the suspension of classes on Tuesday, through an executive order signed by Mayor Bona Fe de Vera Parayno.
Urdaneta suspended only classes face to face at all levels, public and private.
Mapandan will only have modular classes for the day.
However, in Malasiqui, the classes will be in a hybrid configuration, with ordinary morning courses, but modular learning in the afternoon in all public schools.

- San Jacinto, Pangasinan (mixed learning: class hours adjusted in the morning, from 7 to 11 in the morning, modular/distance learning after -miaza, all levels, only public)

- San Fabian, Pangasinan (no afternoon face-to-face courses, all levels, only public)
- Basicist, Pangasinan (no afternoon face-to-face courses, up to High School, Public and Private)
- Santa Barbara, Pangasinan (no afternoon face-to-face courses, up to High School, only public)
- Baymbang, Pangasinan (no afternoon face-to-face courses, up to High School, only public)
- Rosales, Pangasinan (no afternoon face-to-face courses all levels, public and private)
