A major fire broke out on Thursday at the Kingdom of Gurgram dreams. Six fire engines were shipped. The place, closed for years, has undergone significant damages.

A major fire broke out at the Kingdom of Dreams in Sector 29 of Gurgram, on Thursday, March 13, sending smoke feathers in the sky, while the firefighters fought to bring the fire under control. At least six fire engine engines were sent to the scene, while the emergency crews worked to contain fire.

The emergency services are on the site, ensuring that the fire is completely extinguished and evaluating the extent of the damages. Authorities must launch a detailed incident investigation.

The Kingdom of Dreams, a cultural and entertainment center once flourishing, has been closed for several years. Despite its closure, the furniture and other objects stored inside the building caught fire, causing significant damage. Fire officials said they are investigating the cause of the fire.

Established in 2010, The Kingdom of Dreams quickly became one of Guragram’s most important tourist attractions, attracting large crowds with his elaborate opera theater and immersive cultural display. The place gave visitors a taste of global culture, presenting elements inspired by European cities such as Paris and London.

However, financial problems have led to his fall. The Haryana government sealed the property after the management failed to delete the outstanding taxes worth the rupees. The rental contract for the property was officially concluded on July 29, 2024, but the Government has already issued a termination notification on July 6, 2022, citing unpaid rents and other violations. All five gates of the Dream Kingdom were sealed following the notification.

Repeated ads were sent to the management requesting the payment of taxes, but no measures were taken. Finally, the government imposed sanctions for defeat, still complicating the legal and financial position.
