Two men arrested, accused of shooting in the unoccupied vehicle in Birmingham

Birmingham, Ala. (WBRC) – The Birmingham Police Department arrested two men about shooting in an unoccupied vehicle.

Around 8:15 am, on Tuesday, March 11, the officers in the southern section were called to investigate a shot in block 800 from 44th to the north, which was supposed to happen the previous night.

Patrol officers worked to gather information and transmitted it to the BPD download unit.

The police soon managed to locate and take Marquarius Washington, 22, from Birmingham, and Quintez Whisenant, 19, from Birmingham, under three hours after the officers arrived on the spot.

The officers took suspects to be interviewed by detectives.

After the case was presented to the office of the Jewfferson County Magistrate, arrest warrants were issued.

Whisenant is facing charges of discharge of a firearm in an unoccupied vehicle, criminal mistakes and handling physical evidence. It has an obligation of $ 27,000.

Washington is experiencing accusations to discharge a firearm in an unoccupied vehicle and criminal evil. His obligation is $ 21,000.

Both suspects were taken to Jepurson County prison.
