Woman arrested in the US for being held in step captivity captivity for 20 years

When he explained his reasoning to extinguish the fire, the man said to the police: “I wanted my freedom.”

Prosecutors claim that it has received a sandwich and two small bottles of water a day. He was left only from captivity for two hours a day to do the tasks while under the supervision of his stepmother.

Using hand sanitizer, paper and a lighter, he put on fire knowing that he could die, a prosecutor said in court on Wednesday.

His stepmother, Kimberly Sullivan, 56, was at home at the time of the fire, but did not talk to the authorities when they arrived at the scene.

Mrs. Sullivan’s lawyer said the charges are false.

“It has not been locked up in a room,” said lawyer Ioannis Kaloidis, for the local press. “She did not restrict her in any way. She offered food; she provided shelter. She’s thrown by these statements.”

The fire was established on February 17, and the local police arrested Mrs. Sullivan on Wednesday.

The head of the Waterbury police, Fernando Spagnolo, called the details of the case “both tender and unimaginable”.

The police said the victim told them she was held captive in her family home in Waterbury for about 11 years.

“He has been locked up in the room for 20 years, and for 20 years he tried to leave that room,” the prosecutor said.

The authorities were not clear when his father died, but they said that his conditions were aggravated as a result.

When it was found, the authorities said it has a body mass index (BMI) of 11. The National Health Service says that a healthy range is between 18.5 and 24.9.

The police said that during his captivity, the unnamed man did not receive medical or dental care.
