London, Ontario, March 13, 2025 (Globe Newswire) – Aduro Clean Technologies Inc. (“Aduro“Or”Company“) (Nasdaq: Adur) (CSE: ACT) (ESC: 9d5), a clean technology company that uses the power of chemistry to transform lower-value raw materials, such as plastic waste, heavy bitumes and renewable oils, in resources for the 21Sf The century, today announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (“mou”) with Nexgen polymers (“Nexgen”). This mou detailing a framework for a proposed collaboration to develop a Hydrochemytic (“HCT”) technology factory, including ensuring the supply of raw materials, the potential selection of the site and the operations of installations to optimize the data generation for future development of configurable commercial solutions.

Nexgen Polymers, a leading supplier and a virgin and recycled polymer broker, brings over 30 years of experience in managing the supply, infrastructure and logistics chain. The company is specialized in ensuring, storing and distributing the polymer raw material through its extended logistics network, which includes storage, rail and truck infrastructure. This partnership will use Nexgen expertise to support the key operating requirements for the Aduro -planned demonstration unit.

Aduro is currently building Next generation process (“NGP”) HCT pilot plant, targeted for commissioning in the 2025 quarter. This pilot factory will serve as a key staircase, generating critical data to support a larger demonstration factory. With the commissioning and successful testing of the pilot plant, ADURO intends to advance to a demonstrative scale, initially designed to process 8,000 toni per year.

Mou and the respective collaboration with Nexgen aligns with Aduro’s strategic objectives, ensuring that his scale program progresses effectively by implementing the long lead elements necessary for the implementation of the demonstrative installation with the construction of its NGP installation. Collaboration is a natural continuation and an ideal match as Aduro goes to the real implementation of its technology and will focus on evaluating critical feasibility factors necessary for the selection of the site, logistics and supply with raw materials, including the data regarding the characterization of materials, volume and costs, establishing the stage for the next phase of the strategy.

Mou consists of three phases on stage. The two and three phases of Mou are injustice and outline a framework for the execution of a potential common association agreement, as well as a proposed collaboration for commissioning and the operations of a demonstrative factory. Technology, including any improvements or changes made during the proposed common company, will remain the exclusive and exclusive property of Aduro. Phase one is mandatory between Aduro and Nexgen and presents activities in which the parties will collaborate with critical feasibility factors that set the basic works for the next demonstrative installation, including:

  • Brokerage services for the matter of matter of matter matter of matter of matter of matter of matter of matter of matter of matter of matter of matter of matter of matter to ensure the reliable supply of waste polymers. This includes stock management, ensuring raw material agreements, transport planning and storing necessary to maintain constant operations of installations.
  • Selecting the site, evaluation and preparation of the site -Evaluate the nexgen facilities and identify the appropriate locations for the demonstrative plant. This includes evaluation of infrastructure, utilities, zoning regulations and future expansion potential, as well as ensuring sufficient access to transport and logistics.
  • Allowing the site, zoning and approval of the buildings – addresses all regulatory and compliance requirements, including approval of zoning, building permits, environmental compliance, operational safety and emissions regulations. This step ensures that the site can legally and efficiently accommodate the demonstrative installation, as well as any future changes.
  • Preliminary engineering and development of the business model-Definite key design, process and operational parameters of the demonstration installation, while setting a marketing frame for future scaling units. This includes evaluation of the process efficiency, cost structures and potential licensing or implementation models for the wider adoption of the industry.

“Aligned with our strategic objectives, starting work at the demonstrative installation is a critical step in our way for marketing,” said I offer Vicus, CEO of Aduro Clean Technologies. We look forward to working with them while we advance the implementation of our marketing strategy. “

“In Nexgen, we are committed to offering our customers innovative and durable polymers solutions,” said Daniel Peretz, President Nexgen Polymers. “Collaboration with Aduro allows us to explore a next generation technology that can help eliminate the gap between plastic waste and circularity. We look forward to working together to validate its potential on the scale. “

About Aduro Clean Technologies

Aduro Clean Technologies is a developer of patented water -based technologies to chemically recycle waste waste; convert gross and heavy bitumen into more light, more valuable oil; and transform renewable oils into higher value fuels or renewable chemicals. The company’s Hydrocymolytic technology is based on water as a critical agent in a chemistry platform that works at relatively low temperatures and costs, an approach that changes the game that transforms low value raw materials for 21Sf century.
