A four -year -old boy died after being fatally crushed between the elevator doors while playing near the Hyderabad elevator on Wednesday. The incident took place around 10 pm at Muktaba Apartments. The boy, identified as Narender, is the son of the guardian’s guard.
The accident occurred when someone pressed the lifting button, causing him to climb and Narender was caught in the lifting gate, while the doors closed, which led to serious injuries. The Asif Nagar police station told ANI: “A 4 -year -old boy, called Narender, died after blocked in the gate of a lift at Muktaba apartments, under Asif Nagar PS, in Hyderabad. Raise -related accidents
This incident is added to an increasing list of Hyderabad elevators, raising concerns about safety standards in residential buildings.
Last month, a six-year-old boy, Arav, lost his life in a similar accident at an apartment complex in the Masab tank area. He was caught between the elevator shaft and the wall and, despite a two -hour rescue operation, gave in to his wounds at a hospital.
In another case, the main police officer, Thota Gangram, died after falling into a lifting tree in Sircilla. The 59 -year -old commander of the Police Battalion 17 served in key security roles, including the State Secretariat.
