Suspect accused by Rohnert Park, SF bank robberies arrested after carjacking

The man was arrested in January after the police said he had transported a vehicle from a travel sharing in San Francisco.

A man accused of robbing three Banks in Rohnert Park And San Francisco is under arrest, the authorities said.

The 62 -year -old James Michael Garrison was arrested on January 3, after fled by the San Francisco police and transported a vehicle with a fake weapon, according to the public safety department Rohnert Park.

The day before, around 11:20, a robbery at Westamerica Bank on Rohnert Park Expressway was reported. The suspect threatened to shoot a bank cashier if they did not hand over money, the authorities said. The investigators examined the supervisory materials and identified it on Garrison as a suspect.

Police Rohnert Park has already tied it to a December 5, 2024, robbery at the same bank, where it was assumed to stole $ 13,000 using similar methods. Police in San Francisco later connected to a separate bank robbery in the city at the end of December, after examining the supervisory materials.

The garrison was reserved in the prison in San Francisco County under the suspicion of multiple accusations, including carjacking, assault with a deadly weapon and a second -degree robbery. He is restrained without bail.

A criminal complaint was filed on January 7 at the Superior Court in San Francisco, although the details were not immediately available on Thursday. His next appearance in court is scheduled for March 24.
