Two arrested for suspect role in massage robbery

San Jose – Two people suspected of robbing a massage business with a weapon earlier this year were arrested, the police said on Thursday.

The detectives caught the two 20 -year -old Fresno residents on that city, according to a statement of Lt. Ashley Weger in San Jose. They arrested the two under the suspicion of reinforced and kidnapped robbery and placed them in arrest at the main prison of Santa Clara, the police said.

The arrests resulted from a robbery on January 20 at the 2000 Barm Business in Story Road. According to the police, one of the two people entered the business and paid for a massage service. The police said immediately afterwards the second person entered, armed with a weapon and asked for money to the two employees.

According to the police, the first suspect then forced the two employees in different rooms, holding them against their will, and the second suspect took money and other objects. The police said the two then fled from the place of a vehicle driven by a third person.

Authorities have not published any information about the third suspect on Thursday.

Later, investigators found that one of them was related to other similar armed robberies in other cities, including one in Milpitas, the police said. They added that the detectives found a replica weapon and proof of the crime when they searched the Fresno residence where the two were arrested.
