Earlier this week, CBP and DHS announced a new feature through the CBP Home application that allows illegal migrants or foreigners whose freedom has been revoked to inform the US government about their intention to leave the country.

The self-deposit function of the application is part of a $ 200 million advertising campaign at national and international level asking for illegal immigrants to leave the US or to face deportation, according to a month statement from DHS.

“The Biden Administration has exploited the CBP One application to allow more than 1 million aliens to enter the United States illegally,” said internal security secretary, Kristi Noem. “With the launch of the CBP Home app, we restore the integrity of our immigration system.”

“The CBP Home app offers the aliens to go now and self-deport, so it is possible to have the opportunity to return legally in the future and live the American dream,” she added. “If I do not, we will find them, we will deport them and they will never return.”
