3 dead persons in the head accident in the flames in Ontario

Three people died on Thursday night in a head accident in Ontario.

Emergency crews responded to the accident On Road 2 County, near McGibbon Road, east of Cornwall, just after 9:00 pm Thursday, OPP said on X.

A vehicle to the east passed on the western band of the road, forcing at least two drivers to take evasive measures, the police said.

Moments later, there was a collision with one of the vehicles that caught fire, the police said.

The police said that the only occupant of the east car, and the driver and a passenger from the vehicle to the west, were pronounced dead on the spot.

Another passenger in the Western vehicle was transported to a regional trauma center by Air Orrange. Their injuries were considered serious.

A 16 -year -old girl from Champlain Township, a 65 -year -old woman from Cornwall and a 44 -year -old Ottawa’s collision, the police said.

The 16 -year -old boy is from Cornwall, the police said.

The police completed the on -site investigation, and Road 2 county was reopened. The investigation continues.
