The woman suffers foot fractures in the bus accident in the El Cerrito neighborhood

San Diego (CNS)-a 50-year-old woman was hospitalized after the San Diego police said she suffered several foot fractures when a metropolitan transit bus ran on the left foot in El Cerrito.

The officers of the San Diego police department on Thursday responded to the 6000 block at Avenue University, at 4:54 pm, where they learned that the 63-year-old MTS bus driver was stopped along the southern curvature of 6000 Avenue University, when the woman bent to lift a bottle of water in front of the street.

The victim fell before and another person helped him pulling it back from the bus path as he went. The victim’s left foot was still in the street, and the bus driver passed over it, resulting in multiple fractures and losing the skin from the ankle, said officer Jose Perales.

The victim was taken to a hospital with wounds that do not endanger life.
