Moultry – Summer opportunities for children of all ages are available in the community. The connections at the Summer Camp of Colquitt County school can help families find activities for their children who are fun, significant, adventurous and fit their summer programs.

On Tuesday, March 25, organizations around the world will join the school district to provide a unique store for families to learn and enroll in summer activities. Families can visit cabins that have day camps, weekly camps, short classes or activities, all under a single roof. The new, this year, is the addition of Dalton’s Food Truck, Kona Ice and Moultrie Library Book Mobile.

Organizations such as the Museum of Agriculture in Georgia Abac, Cheerleading Packer, Georgia Peach Elite, Camp Invention and PCOM will be ready to sign children and teenagers for summer fun. Also, look for YMCA, Boys & Girls Club, 4-H and the Art Center.

Summer activities will be available for children from kindergarten until high school age. There will be opportunities for adolescents to register for camps such as cybersacurity, martial arts or PCOM Academy of Opportunities.

Families participating in the event will be enrolled in drawings for door prizes from participating organizations, such as reduced registration fees.

Summer camp connections happen, at the Moultry Campus of the Regional Technical College, from 15:30 to 6:00 pm
