Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs pleads guilty before the sex traffic process

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs returned to the Federal Court in New York on Friday, pleading that he is not guilty for the latest version of an indictment that accuses him with two decades of sex trafficking offenses.

The 55-year-old combs, with his beard visibly older than a few weeks ago, was sitting with his hands before him, as he told Judge Subramanian that he had read the indictment and understood the accusations against him.

Comb, who was detained with no bail since his September arrestHe embraced two of his lawyers when he entered the courtroom.

Subramanian told the lawyers that the questionnaires will be distributed to hundreds of potential jurors at the end of April, so that the jurors who will start on May 5, with opening statements envisaged on May 12.

According to the indictment, Combs used the “power and prestige” that he carried as a musical mogul to intimidate, threaten and attract women into his orbit, often under the pretext of a romantic relationship.

The indictment said that he then used the strength, threats and constraint to determine the victims, including the three women, to get involved in commercial sexual acts.

He said that he subjected the victims to violence, threats of violence, threats of financial and reputational injury and verbal abuse.

“On several occasions, Combs threw both objects and people, as well as hit, dragged, suffocated and thrown on others,” he said. “On one occasion, Combs threw a victim on an apartment balcony.”

Defense lawyers claimed that prosecutors were trying to demonize sexual acts between consenting adults.

Part of the discussion in court on Friday was rotated around what will be allowed at the trial about a video that was broadcast on CNN last year, which looked like a former protected and loved one, the R&B Cassie singer and throwing it on the floor.

The US Deputy Lawyer, Mitzi Steiner, said the video was “critic for the case”.

Defense lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, said that the video is “scam and not in accordance with the actions that took place”.

He said that certain actions were accelerated in the video with 50 percent, and others were removed.

“From the point of view of defense, it is a misleading proof, a misleading proof, a proof that has been changed,” he said.
